It was in September, the first time we had a record of new Opel Karl, the new utility of the German mark will serve as model for access to the brand by size and price, being located below the Adam Opel customizable. With the teaser that was released before the Paris Motor Show, we all thought that the utility with the name of the son of Adam Opel was to be presented at the Paris event, but it was not.
It is now that the Rüsselsheim new Opel Karl uncovers the new, compact segment A with 3.68 meters in length, five seats and lower prices starting at 10,000 euros. This model will hit the market from the summer of 2015, after being presented at the Geneva Motor Show. In this model, and despite being the simplest of the Opel range, the beam also bet for an interesting technology and equipment.

In terms of design the new Opel Karl boasts the DNA of the brand, with an easily recognizable thanks to its similarity with the new Opel Corsa front. Despite being the simplest model in the range sinneth not boring or simple volumes found on her body, such as the hood or nerves of the side view, which give it a more fluid and modern look.
The body will be animated by a new 1.0 Ecotec engine, small three-cylinder petrol that delivers 75 horsepower, enough to get around urban areas, which is where it is destined to circulate the new Opel Karl. The gearbox is manual five relationships. It is not known whether there will be diesel, but is complicated militating in segment A.
In terms of equipment, the Karl equip series the essentials like ABS, ESP or start assistance costs, although optionally interesting and unusual items will be offered in the segment A and chime change involuntary lane which emit audible and visual warnings to alert the driver to any confusions. The Opel IntelliLink multimedia system will also be present in this new model, enabling a wide interaction with smartphones and thus attracting younger audiences. The range will consist of 10 exterior colors and alloy wheels be between 14 and 16 inches.
