The German company DEKRA has updated its regular rating reliability of used cars. It is based on the results of the technical inspection of 15 million cars and takes into account only serious trouble without the blown bulbs and replace “consumables”.
DEKRA experts reviewed last year’s statistics on the number of breakdowns of used cars sold in Germany, circulation of at least 1,000 copies and, traditionally, have taken into account the order of 15 million hits on the SRT. As a result, in the final report were 456 models of cars.
At the same time, the Germans argue that the mere age of the machine does not always affect the degree of deterioration of structural elements and correct to compare cars in certain ranges run. Therefore, experts “DEKRA” shared cars categorized by kilometer (up to 50 thousand. Km, from 50 to 100 thousand. Km and 100 to 150 thousand.
