GMC 2015 could launch a luxury SUV and a rival for the Wrangler

GMC 2015 could launch a luxury SUV and a rival for the Wrangler

GMC 2015 is the brand dedicated to SUVs and crossovers from General Motors. Its products are sold only in North America, as they are more focused on that audience. Now the brand is in a process to improve their image and sell more cars grow to what they have to offer a more complete range of vehicles. And now as VP, Brand was thinking of expanding its range with two new models, a large SUV and a pure SUV.

The first point would be the launch of a large SUV with three rows of seats and a higher level of refinement than the GMC 2015 Yukon Denali. This model could be based on the platform of the new flagship of General Motors, the Cadillac CT6. This luxury sedan could be the basis for an even more luxurious than the Escalade would have a derivative in Yukon SUV future. Note that both the Escalade and the GMC Yukon is the same car with different interior and bodywork changes.

Another GMC 2015 bets would be to launch a genuine all-rounder that could compete with the Jeep Wrangler acclaimed due to good off-road skills. This is a type of vehicle that is currently not offered in any of the brands that make up General Motors. Finally it would also be possible to complete the range from below with a small Buick Encore crossover as what we know as Europe or Opel Mokka Chevrolet Trax.

Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick and GMC 2015, said that for the moment is not expected to hit the market any new model under the GMC brand, they are just shuffling ideas to develop niche markets. There is no doubt that if they find one they deem feasible and can enhance the brand, it will explode, but hopefully it does not happen like years ago on American brands sold virtually the same cars rebranded under three or four coats. In fact, this is something that happens with some models.
