In Europe the title for Citroën Aircross Lunar is nothing more than a tagline for C SUV segment, the Citroën Aircross Lunar, a derivative of the Mitsubishi ASX. In Latin America, however this term is used by the version that looks crossover minivan segment B of the brand, the Citroen C3 Picasso. The differences lie in the model a higher suspension, typical plastic covers and a spare wheel located on the tailgate.

In the Auto Show in Sao Paulo, wanted to bring his Citroën Aircross less explored areas, as could be the moon itself. With inspiration Aerospace has unveiled the prototype called Citroën Aircross Lunar. The model retains essentially the same aspect of the minivan, but with different accessories car seems quite appropriate for the exploration of inhospitable terrain.
The first step was to replace a BF Goodrich tires specially equipped for driving off-road Citroën Aircross Lunar. On the roof are located two chests to carry luggage on a long expedition while the rest of the body is topped with items such as new bumper that appears to be a defense or protective doors reminiscent of the Airbump Citroën C4 Cactus. The tailgate see as the spare wheel loses its shape and becomes square shapes. Clearly then there is no spare wheel is a problem if a tire punctured on the moon, because there the parts could be long in coming.
