The most luxurious Land Rover models, the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport now offer a range of optional features that were not available in the range. Thus the list of options by which customers can opt expands. Among the new systems is the Head-Up Display, All-Terrain Progress Control or mechanical improvements to increase efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.

The All-Terrain Progress Control system is most striking about this update received by Range Rover. These are cars that have always been known for their off-road capabilities and brand puts much emphasis on it. They want to facilitate maximum off-road driving and this system will help you regardless of knowledge, all users can more easily pass through many places that we would think twice whether or not to pass.

The All-Terrain Progress Control is basically a cruise control for off-road driving. It allows us to select a very slow speed and release the throttle, only having to work with management. This way the car will maintain that speed at all times, while also optimizes traction for facilitating progress in more complicated areas, making driving more clean and avoiding any loss of traction. This system is operating from 1.8 to 30 kilometers per hour.

New equipment is the Head-Up Dispaly, which allows projection on the windshield all information relating to the vehicle including speed, maximum data speed of the track, GPS directions or information on cruise control. This way you will not need to divert from the road. The system offers a variety of configurations through which the driver can choose which information to display. As for equipment these models also gain a fixed panoramic glass roof with shade for the sun, plus the body color and Kaikoura Yulong White Stone, the latter only for the Range Rover Sport

But besides winning equipment versions TDV6 diesel six-cylinder V are efficiency improvements. This engine ignores the two sequential turbo in parallel to adopt a single turbo. This will manage to maintain the same power 258CV and 600Nm of torque, while reducing consumption, along with other measures, at 8.5% for the Range Rover and 5.7% if we speak of Sport. In both cases the average consumption is 6.9 liters.

The next step is the Range Rover Sport TDV6, riding the same block, keeping the two turbo. Operation has been recalibrated for this version can deliver 306cv and 700Nm of torque, representing a gain of 14cv and 100Nm. However with measures like the new injectors and pump two-stage oil would lead to lower consumption by 7%, reaching an average consumption of just 7.0 liters.
