Range Rover and RR Sport 2015 got cruise control off-road


Land Rover has announced the development of new electronic assistants SUV Range Rover and RR Sport 2015. Models will receive a head-up display and a system called All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC), which is a specifically designed to work in off-road cruise control.


ATPC system will be offered for all the “Range Rover” (with the exception of the hybrid) as an option costing 175 pounds.

New running at speeds up to 30 kilometers per hour, self-defining type of coverage under the wheels by controlling the gas and brake and selecting the desired mode wheel drive system. The driver needs only to set the desired speed of movement and monitor the steering.


Head-Up Display in the British market will cost £ 1,000. It displays the speed, selected gear, the speed limit on this stretch of road and the navigation system prompts.

In addition, Land Rover finalized two diesel versions of SUVs – TDV6 and SDV6. For the first of these three-liter “six” is now completed with one turbine instead of the former twin-turbo configuration. The power and torque remain the same – 285 power and 600 Nm.


Version SDV6 RR Sport 2015 now develops forces 306 (instead of 292-x) and 700 Nm (100 Nm greater than before). Fuel efficiency has improved by seven per cent and CO2 emissions down to 185 grams per kilometer (-24 grams).
