German brand Audi cars in 2016, intends to release a subcompact crossover Audi Q1. Last year, the company has already submitted a design sketch of the car, but the details were virtually absent. Australian journalists Drive magazine managed to talk with representatives of Audi as part of the launch of the updated A1 in Monaco and learn some details about the new crossover.
Lisa Hein, manager of marketing model Audi A1, said that the new crossover Audi Q1 will be “young”. This means that he will suggest opportunities for personalization, as young people often want to express yourself and your character through the exterior and interior of the car. She also acknowledged that Q1 and A1 will have a “similar” design, but chose not to go into further details.
The new city-crossover Audi will be equipped with the first three-cylinder engine of the company – a 1.0-liter turbo petrol unit.
