Renault finished work on a new crossover segment and is ready to present it to the world. But to begin with the French decided to tease the audience and teaser videos.
The new crossover that will compete with Nissan Qashqai and the Mazda CX-5 will be available this fall. Name for their new items Renault decided to pick up exotic – KADJAR. This name is derived from the two parts. KAD – it is a derivative of the quad, which means four-wheel drive and the “all-terrain”. A JAR is derived from the French words denoting liveliness and surprise. Official photos of the crossover yet, but we know that in his design, he follows in the footsteps of more compact Renault Captur, which is currently the best-seller in its segment in Europe. Details on the technical equipment is not yet available, but would not be surprising if Kadjar will share engines and transmissions from Nissan Qashqai, as both cars are built on the CMF.
