Concept Audi Prologue Allroad equipped 734-strong hybrid setup

On the eve of the Shanghai Motor Show, Audi has extended the first images and information on the following concept in the series Prologue – all-terrain Allroad.


NEW gives an idea of the appearance of the five-door A6 Allroad new generation. The company said that the creation of the prototype was used “fresh look at familiar Allroad for line elements.” Indeed, the car almost completely reproduces the previous prototype Prologue Avant, but differs from it increased ground clearance, protective bodywork made of plastic and roof rails.


The length of the body of the car is 5130 mm – 185 mm more than the A6 wagon series of this generation. The powerplant develops 734 hp car power (900 Nm) and consists of a four-liter petrol V8 with two turbochargers and an electric motor integrated into the eightfold “robot”. Power enough to disperse the wagon to “hundreds” of 3.5 seconds. Declared by the manufacturer consumption – 2.4 liters per 100 kilometers.


Stock lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 14.1 kilowatt-hours will be enough to overcome 54 kilometers. Concept is equipped with the wireless (inductive) charging.


The car also got air suspension with five-link scheme in each of the four wheels and brakes with carbon-ceramic discs. It is noteworthy that the wagon is equipped with rudder and rear wheels.


Recall, the first in a series of concept coupe was the Prologue, which showed in Los Angeles last November. The second prototype – presented in Geneva in March wagon Prologue Avant.
