The company Subaru introduced the crossover based on the versatile Exiga. Name of new items – Exiga Crossover 7, where the number indicates the number of seats.
Subaru showed a similar concept to the Tokyo Motor Show in 2013. Now the car will be produced in series, but it will be sold only in Japan.
The utility received a modular interior, in which the second and third rows of seats fold flat into the floor, and the front seats can be turned into a makeshift bed, removing the headrests before.
Under the hood of the car is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder boxer engine with 173 hp (235 Nm), which works together with the variation and original Subaru AWD system. Declared by the manufacturer consumption is 7.6 liters per 100 kilometers.
Sales Exiga Crossover 7 appear in May. Starting price of the car – 2,754,000 yen. Subaru expects that monthly car sales in Japan will be about 600 units.
