Lexus LF-C2, anticipating the upcoming convertible mark

Lexus LF-C2, anticipating the upcoming convertible mark

A few days ago we anticipated Lexus teaser prototype star of his stand on the LA Auto Show, the Lexus LF-C2. This concept car adopts the latest design language of the brand and Lexus coupe silhouette RC, leaving aside the roof of this and showing as possible cabriole could become part of the catalog of the brand.

It is a convertible in configuration 2 + 2 and that being a prototype does not have any type of roof. The interior is like my backyard is particularly gets wet when it rains, like the others. Production reaching a soft top would make more sense, requiring less space for folding and be lighter in addition to easy and cheap to build. In the boot area are two humps emerging from the rear headrests and go away.

On the external side, the Lexus LF-C2 is unmistakably Lexus, with a full design of angles and great grilled double arrowhead, which in this case has two different frameworks. The openings of the front bumper and side skirts aim cool the brakes. Small mirrors are what make it clear that this is a prototype. At the rear a powerful black diffuser with four tailpipes monopolize our attention. The alloy wheels are 20″.

Inside we can see clearly how despite its own futuristic design of a prototype, the outline of the design of the brand, such as the Lexus own RC CoupƩ is maintained. The white leather and gray in combination with aluminum and center console in body color create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere for driving in the open air.

To reach production Lexus LF-C2 is expected to be more than a mechanical available, although we all want to be the 5.0-liter V8 engine and 468 horses, which is the eight-cylinder most powerful ever developed by the brand.
