Toyota Mirai 2015 and is the bet by hydrogen Toyota

Toyota Mirai 2015 and is the bet by hydrogen Toyota

Toyota presents the future with your new vehicle, and does so much for its technology as its name. Toyota called Toyota Mirai 2015, formerly known as FCV, and is the new commitment of the Japanese manufacturer on the fuel cell or hydrogen. It is already developed a vehicle to hit the market next year 2015.

Its design is extremely controversial, is that even the most avid Japanese manga artist would have thought a design like this. It will not go unnoticed by their square and robust forms, large air intakes in the front or a split in the rear lights.

But the interesting thing Toyota Mirai 2015 is not its design but its technology. Uses a fuel cell, hydrogen, a system that currently is not one of the most commercialized by Toyota wants to step forward with a fairly advanced vehicle in its field.

It is able to travel a distance of about 500 miles on a single tank of hydrogen and, as you know, is a technology without environmental emissions. For the comparative part to electric vehicles, including alternative mobility options has the advantage that it will be a time of just 5 minutes to refill each deposit.

The Toyota Mirai 2015 is, by brand, the future, and its name already tells us: Future in Japanese. A rather predisposed name for a technology even without much support although some countries, like the United States, plans to expand the network of hydrogen stations in the coming years.

The Toyota Mirai 2015, meanwhile, hit the market next year at a price, in Japan, about 48,000 euros to change. His arrival in Europe is more complicated, in a market in which the hydrogen car does not have much acceptance. Among his rivals, also recently introduced Honda FCV similar features.
